If you are coming from Bologna, it is better to drive to Montecatini Terme to avoid the road through the mountain pass.

The hosts were very friendly unfortunately they speek only italian but we still managed to comunicate. The breakfast was ok.
The locatin is a bit outside of the city (ca.4km) but for this reason also very quiet.
