About this villa rental

Le Vie Cave is set in an idyllic hillside position above Monsummano Terme, offering panoramic views across the Val di Nievole landscape. Surrounded by unspoiled nature, it provides a peaceful and private setting. The house is spacious yet retains a cosy feel, making it equally suitable for a family holiday or a romantic retreat for two.

The nearest town is Monsummano Terme, just a five-minute drive away, with supermarkets and restaurants. It is also home to the Grotta Giusti, the largest thermal cave in Europe, offering wellness treatments and spa experiences. Another nearby spa town is Montecatini Terme. The beautiful city of Lucca, with its impressive city walls and many churches, is around 35 minutes away. Families with children will enjoy visiting the Parco di Pinocchio or the Pistoia Zoo. Day trips to Viareggio on the coast, as well as Pisa and Florence, are also easy to arrange.

The two-storey stone villa is surrounded by well-kept gardens. Next to the kitchen is a pergola-shaded terrace, the perfect place for relaxed outdoor meals. By the pool, a gazebo furnished with garden sofas and armchairs offers another inviting spot to unwind.

Inside, the house has been lovingly restored. High beamed ceilings and wooden floors add warmth, while exposed stonework contrasts beautifully with plastered walls painted in soft tones. The interiors are luxurious and mostly modern, complemented by carefully selected vintage and antique pieces that give the house its unique character.
