Very comfortable and easy. An ideal bolt hole for exploring the lower western highlands. Fantastic!

Excellent location overlooking the loch with uninterrupted views. However as a very old cottage it only has single glazing and is beside a road. The road is not busy but earplugs for sleeping might be helpful for some.

Very lovely stay and accommodating owners allowing earlier check ins when we are working day/night.

Very cosy and well set up

The water pressure in the bathroom on the sink tap/wash basin is too low. It's just a trickle. When brushing your teeth its hard to wash out the sink after use and keep it clean. When sharing accommodation with work colleagues hygeine is super important. The front bedroom whilst beautiful overlooking the road is noisy with traffic. Glad i brought ear plugs - suggest telling guests. Appreciate the building is listed etc and lovely

Very comfortable. Picturesque and homely, with all the facilities we needed for a short stay.

Location is perfect. Short stroll to Inveraray and a shorter stroll to the Co-op. A superb base to strike into the West of Scotland, from Oban to Campbeltown. The views from the property are amazing, with the Loch literally across the road and mountains in the near distance. Inverary Castle is well worth a visit, as is the George, for dinner.

My only comment would be that the property is on the main road (which i knew beforehand) and this road is busy with cars, lorries, and buses. Could be a little noisy at the front of the house early in the morning, but knowing this, I still booked, as the location is fantastic!

We enjoyed our stay and found the cottage comfortable but wouldn’t book again because of the above.

The property was clean and tidy apart from the two armchairs which had seen better days but were comfortable and the information folder which was covered in dirty finger prints and had the wrong key box no in it. It is well equipped and a shirt walk to the village and shops.

We had forgotten that the road outside has fast and heavy traffic. I didn’t like walking into the main bedroom to find a huge plastic laundry bag hanging from the handle of the wardrobe and not one but three laminated requests for us to strip the beds and pack the linen and towels into it when we left. The garden is not private as it is not screeded from the next door cottage.

Perfect cosy cottage in an exceptional location.

Glorious location. The view breathtaking out of the front windows. Everything we needed for a cosy February stay. The wood burning stove was so lovely every evening ( and one particularly chilly morning!) Well equipped kitchen & the beds are so confirm and cosy. Our second visit here & we definitely will be back x

Fantastic stay - autumn colours were beautiful

The location of the property was stunning. Right on the banks of the Loch and a short walk into the village centre. We loved having a fire each evening, which made the cottage super cosy.

The small bedroom was very small (I know this can't be helped in an old cottage). We were all over 6ft so it was a bit of a struggle.

We didn't like the wood burning stove, it didn't give out much heat.That may have been the fault of the wood provided.

Great location and cottage in which to spend the time between Christmas and New Year

Excellent location within very short walk of high street and view over lough. Lots of great walks nearby Very well equipped with kitchen appliances & tools Good selection of DVDs

Wifi/Broadband was very intermittent on first night but improved the following nights, which was disappointing as we had planned to watch several programmes on TV, being Boxing Day
