The Garden Mansion is one of the most beautiful houses we have stayed in: understated grandeur, spacious, light and airy, with high ceilings, beautifully furnished. We settled into it straight away. The location is perfect, set high above the city centre, close to one of the miradors and in (almost flat!) walking distance of Graca's buzzy bars and restaurants. Despite being close to the very busy Mirador, Rua S Gens, where the house is located, is a haven of peace. The patio garden is delightful, with space for outdoor eating (if the weather permits, which it didn't while we were there) and a lovely shaded sitting area. Marta (the local manager) was very helpful and was able to arrange a late check out for us, whch was useful as our flight home was late afternoon. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and were very sad to leave.

This house was very nice and perfect for our multi-generation group. The house was just lovely and the back courtyard was perfect to lounge in after a day of exploring. The bunk room was super cute and was stocked with little kid books and games. The living room was large and spacey enough for our group.
I didn’t initially realize how close we were to the Miradouro but wow! It is right around the corner! We popped by throughout the day and every evening at sunset.
Also had a convenience store/cafe a 2 minute walk away. Would definitely recommend!
