Welcome to Firefly Farm — a peaceful Iowa country retreat with plenty of room to gather, relax, and make yourself at home.
Located just outside West Branch and conveniently close to I-80, Firefly Farm offers the privacy and charm of a country stay while keeping you within easy reach of Iowa City, the University of Iowa, Coralville, West Branch, and other eastern Iowa destinations.
Whether you’re visiting for an Iowa football weekend, a family gathering, a wedding, a weekend getaway, or simply looking for a little more space to slow down, Firefly Farm gives your group room to spread out and enjoy the countryside.
THE FARMHOUSE
The farmhouse features three bedrooms with:
• 1 king bed
• 2 queen beds
• 1 futon
• 2 queen air mattresses available for additional sleeping space
With multiple sleeping options and generous common areas, the house works especially well for families and groups traveling together.
The main floor includes comfortable living and dining spaces, a full kitchen, a full bathroom with a walk-in shower, and one bedroom. Upstairs you’ll find two additional bedrooms and a convenient half bath.
The home is stocked with many of the everyday essentials you’ll need for a comfortable stay, along with games and plenty of space to relax after a day of exploring.
A TRUE COUNTRY STAY
Firefly Farm isn’t a subdivision house with a farmhouse theme — it’s the real thing.
You’ll have the atmosphere of an Iowa farm, open space around you, country views, and room to enjoy a quieter pace. Morning coffee, evenings at the farm, family meals around the table, and simply having space to breathe are all part of the experience.
DOG FRIENDLY
We know a getaway is better when your four-legged family members can come along. Firefly Farm is dog friendly, so you don’t necessarily have to leave your best friend behind. A pet fee applies.
GREAT LOCATION
Firefly Farm offers a country setting without putting you far away from everything.
West Branch, Iowa City, Coralville, the University of Iowa, restaurants, shopping, attractions, and entertainment are all within driving distance. The location also makes the farm especially convenient for University of Iowa events and Hawkeye football weekends.
Because the property is located near I-80, some interstate traffic noise may be heard outside and occasionally from the house. We like to be upfront about this so guests know what to expect. The tradeoff is easy interstate access while still enjoying the space and privacy of a farm.
OPTIONAL BUILDING / GATHERING SPACE
Need more than just the farmhouse?
Firefly Farm also has a large separate building on the property that may be available as an optional add-on for certain stays, gatherings, or special uses.
Use of this building is NOT included with a standard farmhouse reservation and must be arranged and approved separately in advance. Availability, permitted uses, occupancy, and additional fees will depend on the nature of your request.
