The Friesenhuus Carolinensiel No. 4 is a bright and cozy apartment with a balcony on the first floor—ideal for couples, small families, and cycling vacationers who want to enjoy a peaceful vacation in a central location between the North Sea beach and the town center.
Following a comprehensive renovation, this modernly designed vacation apartment has been available since 2023 to guests seeking maritime charm, upscale comfort, and a relaxed setting right behind the dike. Spanning 43 m², the stylishly furnished apartment accommodates up to 4 people.
A special highlight is the spacious balcony with comfortable seating and a parasol. Here, you can enjoy the sunrise and a fresh breeze of North Sea air first thing in the morning with a cup of coffee or traditional East Frisian tea.
From the spacious entryway with a coat closet, you’ll find the modern bathroom, which includes a toilet, sink, walk-in shower, and hair dryer.
The master bedroom offers a beautiful view of the dike and the historic drawbridge. It is furnished with a double bed measuring 180 × 200 cm with an open footboard. New mattresses with two different firmness levels, installed in 2026, ensure a particularly restful night’s sleep.
The second bedroom features a bunk bed with each bed measuring 90 × 200 cm. This makes the apartment ideal for couples, small families, or families with two children. All windows are equipped with blackout curtains. In addition, one window in each bedroom is fitted with a fly screen.
The heart of the apartment is the bright living and dining area, which measures approximately 23 m². Cozy armchairs and a couch invite you to relax. Entertainment options include board games, a flat-screen TV, a DVD player, and a hi-fi system.
The dining area seats 4 people and is complemented by a high-quality kitchenette. The kitchen is fully equipped and features a dishwasher, an oven with a ceramic cooktop, a microwave, a large refrigerator with a separate freezer compartment, a coffee maker (either pod or filter style), a kettle, a toaster, and much more.
In addition to your private balcony, you have free access to the large lawn as well as the shared garden terrace, which features a grill, comfortable furniture, and a patio umbrella. From the entrance area of the house, you have access to the free laundry and drying room. You can conveniently park your car in the reserved parking space right next to the house.
Especially convenient for cyclists: The property features a free, lockable bike garage with e-bike charging stations. This allows you to explore Carolinensiel, Harlesiel, and the North Sea coast comfortably and worry-free by bike.
The detached Friesenhuus Carolinensiel is located directly behind the dike, on a quiet cul-de-sac, and is surrounded by a spacious lawn. Harle, with its idyllic promenade, the historic Friedrichsschleuse drawbridge, and the middle dock for the historic paddlewheel steamer Concordia II, is just about 100 m away.
Numerous playgrounds are located about 300 m away. The Cliner Quelle spa center, featuring an indoor pool, saltwater pool, sauna area, and a wide range of wellness offerings, is only about 350 m away.
