Bright, modern vacation apartment on the 1st floor with a spacious living area and a large south-facing balcony with a parasol in a prime location—right in the middle between the North Sea and the town center—ideal for families and couples who want to enjoy sunny vacations in a quiet setting directly behind the dike.

On the 1st floor of the Friesenhuus Carolinensiel is vacation apartment No. 5. Following a comprehensive renovation, this modern vacation apartment has been available to guests since 2023 and combines maritime charm with upscale living comfort.
With a total area of 51 m², Friesenhuus No. 5 offers families, couples, or solo travelers a stylish setting for their vacation in Carolinensiel-Harlesiel. The vacation rental is designed to accommodate up to 4 people plus one toddler up to 3 years old.
Of particular note is the open and spacious living and dining area with access to the south-facing balcony. On the approximately 14 m² balcony, comfortable seating invites you to sunbathe, enjoy breakfast, or wind down the day in relaxation. A patio umbrella is also available for your use.
The bright living area features a spacious sofa corner and a range of entertainment options, including a flat-screen TV, DVD player, and hi-fi system. The high-quality kitchenette is fully equipped and features a dining area that seats up to 4 people.
The kitchen features a dishwasher, an oven with a glass-ceramic cooktop, a microwave, a large refrigerator with a separate freezer compartment, a coffee maker (either pod or filter), a kettle, a toaster, and much more.
The master bedroom faces south and is furnished with a double bed (180 × 200 cm) with an open footboard. New mattresses with two different firmness levels, installed in 2026, ensure a particularly restful night’s sleep. Blackout curtains and a fly screen are also available for the window. If a crib is needed, we provide one free of charge for our youngest guests.
The second bedroom features two twin beds measuring 90 × 200 cm. A large skylight offers a view of the sky and is equipped with a blackout blind.
The spacious hallway features a coat rack as well as practical storage and shelving options for your vacation luggage. From here, you can access the modern bathroom, which features a toilet, sink, walk-in shower, and hair dryer.
In addition to the large south-facing balcony, you have free access to the spacious lawn as well as the shared garden terrace with a grill, comfortable furniture, and a parasol. From the entrance area of the house, you have access to the free laundry and drying room. You can conveniently park your car in the reserved parking space right next to the house.
Cyclists are also very welcome here: The property features a free, lockable bike garage that includes an e-bike charging station.
The detached Friesenhuus Carolinensiel is located directly behind the dike, on a quiet cul-de-sac, and is surrounded by a spacious lawn. The Harle River, with its idyllic promenade, the historic Friedrichsschleuse drawbridge, and the middle dock for the historic paddlewheel steamer Concordia II, is just about 100 m away.
Numerous playgrounds are located about 300 m away. The Cliner Quelle spa center, featuring an indoor pool, saltwater pool, sauna area, and a wide range of wellness offerings, is only about 350 m away. Thanks to its central location, you can easily reach the historic town center of Carolinensiel—with its idyllic museum harbor—on foot. The North Sea beach in Harlesiel is also within walking distance—about a 10-minute walk.
