Other things to keep in mind
☀️ Ferragosto and peak season
In Italy, the period around Ferragosto (roughly August 5–20) is traditionally one of the busiest times of the summer. August 15 is one of Italy’s major holidays, and many families choose these weeks for their vacations.
As a result, the resort, beaches, restaurants, streets, and major attractions in the area may be much more crowded than usual.
For a more peaceful summer stay, we recommend May, June, July, September, or October, when the lake and its surroundings are generally more relaxed.
In addition to towels and sheets, one pool towel per person is also provided.
Smoking is prohibited in the apartment.
The apartment also features a fireplace and a barbecue, which guests are welcome to use during their stay. We simply ask that you leave them clean and in good condition after use, so that future guests can also enjoy them comfortably.
SWIMMING POOL
The swimming pool is usually open from mid-May to the end of September, depending on weather conditions, so we cannot guarantee the exact opening and closing dates.
Swim caps are required in the pool.
At the end of the day, the lounge chairs must be folded up and placed against the wall, and the umbrellas must be closed.
The pool is shared with the other guests at the residence.
AWNING
The awning must be unrolled using the crank handle. The most important point is that the fabric comes out from the top of the roller, not from the bottom.
How to check that it is open correctly
Always verify that:
* the fabric remains over the arms;
* the arms are not fully extended to their limit;
* the awning remains taut at all times, without sagging;
* the arms maintain a slight angle.
Mistake to avoid:
A fairly common mistake is rolling up the awning the wrong way. In this case, the fabric will come out of the bottom of the roller instead of the top, compromising the awning’s proper operation.
If the blind is rolled up the wrong way:
If you notice that the blind has been rolled up the wrong way, do not force it. To avoid damaging the mechanism or the fabric, carefully rewind and unroll it using the crank until the fabric comes out of the top of the roller again.
In practice:
For proper use, always make sure that:
* the fabric is above the arms;
* the arms are not fully extended;
* the awning remains taut and stable.
