Blue Cove Hiriketiya Beach Resort

I like the modern look of the property. The staff stood by the encouraging people to eat at the restaurant were always lovely and asking if I needed anything. The room was clean, tidy and great value for money. The real selling point was the bathroom, the stone decor and shower were brilliant. Down at the reception area, the staff were accommodating carrying luggage, asking if my room needed anything and also providing me with an umbrella when going out for dinner. I booked this hotel an hour before check in as my original hotel was not of good quality and the staff here were incredibly accommodating and even let me look at a few rooms before I decided to check in,

During the storm the balcony light would not go off, I don’t know if the powercut earlier in the day tripped it but I couldn’t open the doors as there was 40+ moths/mosquitos/flying things just buzzing about. The ceiling fan has some wires exposed. The signs to not leave anything valuable in the room, although you’d assume it’s common sense I just felt super consciously that I needed to take all valuables with me. Maybe consider a safe/fridge in the room,

really lovely hotel at a great price. The staff were all so lovely and attentive! You must ask Nishantha to make you his Ceylon special cocktail it was delicious!

The beach was lovely, and the resort offered great value for money. The room was clean and modern, and the staff were excellent. Special thanks to Gimhani at reception, who was friendly and responsive - even answering calls late at night.

I didn’t have any significant issues during my stay.
