Enjoy a relaxing getaway in this cozy 30 m² kelo log studio in the peaceful Salmilampi area of West Ruka (Länsi-Ruka), Kuusamo. Built in 1987, with a kitchen renovated in 2022 and renewed floors and water pipes, this terraced house studio combines traditional log character with modern comfort. Recommended for 2+2 guests, it offers a private electric sauna and a fireplace, 2 km from the nearest downhill ski lift and 25 km from the golf course.
The studio is laid out on one floor with an open-plan living space and an additional sleeping loft above.
Living room & Kitchen: The open-plan kitchen and living room forms the heart of the studio, with a fireplace, a convertible sofa bed, a TV, a CD player and a radio. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, an electric stove, a microwave oven, a coffee maker, an electric kettle and a fridge. Ironing equipment, a vacuum cleaner and cleaning equipment are also provided.
Bedrooms & Loft: The loft holds mattresses for two people. The stairs up to the loft are rather steep, and a safety gate is fitted at the loft opening. Downstairs, the convertible sofa bed in the living room sleeps two more, giving flexible sleeping arrangements for up to 4 guests.
Bathroom & Sauna: The toilet and washroom include a shower, a washing machine, a drying cabinet for outdoor clothes and a hair dryer. Directly connected is your own electric sauna, perfect for unwinding after a day outdoors.
Parking & outdoors: The property has a parking area with one car heating plug, and firewood is available from the wood storage on site.
Please note that pets are strictly prohibited and charging electric cars is not permitted.
Please note that final cleaning and bed linens are not included in the rental price, but can be purchased separately from the host.
