About this apartment rental
Enjoy a peaceful stay in this 32 + 14 m² kelo log and concrete terraced house apartment, located in a quiet and pleasant spot in the West Ruka (Länsi-Ruka) area. Built in 1989, it combines the warm character of traditional kelo log with practical comfort, and is well suited to families and groups of 4 guests, with room for up to 6. The apartment has its own electric sauna and a fireplace, and the outdoors starts at the door: maintained ski tracks are 200 m away, the nearest ski lift (Kelorinteet) 800 m, and Ruka Central Square and the nearest restaurant 1 km away. The SALE Rukamarket grocery store is 2 km away and Kuusamo 25 km. Pets are welcome.
The living space is distributed across the ground floor and a loft.
Living room & Kitchen: The ground floor is an open-plan kitchen and living room with a fireplace, a TV, a DVD player and a radio. The sofa here can be made up into a bed for two when needed. The kitchen is equipped with an electric stove, dishwasher, refrigerator with a freezer compartment, coffee maker, toaster, microwave oven and electric kettle.
Bedroom & Loft: The loft holds two box-spring beds that can be moved apart if you prefer separate beds, along with a convertible sofa bed for two, giving flexible sleeping arrangements for up to 6 guests.
Bathroom & Sauna: The washroom has an indoor toilet, a shower, a washing machine, a drying cabinet for outdoor clothing and a hair dryer. Next to it is your own electric sauna. Ironing equipment, a vacuum cleaner and cleaning equipment are also provided.
Parking & outdoors: There is a parking area for the apartment with one car heating plug, and a firewood storage on site with firewood available. This is a non-smoking apartment, and it is not suitable for guests with reduced mobility.
Please note that final cleaning and bed linens are not included in the rental price, but can be purchased separately from the host.
