About this apartment rental
Enjoy a spacious Lapland getaway in this 92.5 m² two-story kelo log apartment in the Plantinginharju area of West Ruka. Built in 1992 and renovated in 2020, it combines the warmth of traditional kelo log construction with modern comforts, and is especially well suited to large families with children. The property has its own sauna and washroom, a fireplace, a loft, and a wood shed with firewood included. Ruka Village Square is 2 km away, the Kelorinteet slopes and the nearest restaurant 1.5 km, and the SALE Ruka supermarket 2.5 km. Pets are welcome.
The home is laid out over two floors, with a loft above.
Living room & Kitchen: The living room and kitchen share one open-plan space. The kitchen is equipped with an electric stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, microwave oven, coffee maker, toaster and electric kettle. The living area has a television and a radio. Wireless internet, a vacuum cleaner, ironing equipment and cleaning supplies are provided, along with a baby cot for children under 2 and a high chair.
Bedrooms, Loft & Fireplace room: The middle-floor bedroom has a double bed, and the downstairs bedroom has 2 single beds, with an extra bed for a child that pulls down from the top bunk. Downstairs there is also a fireplace room that doubles as a dressing room, and a loft above adds further space. The apartment sleeps 6+2 guests.
Bathroom & Sauna: A unique sauna with an electric heater adjoins the washroom, which has a shower, a washing machine, a clothes drying cabinet and a hairdryer. There are 2 separate toilets.
Outdoor area: The apartment has a porch/terrace and a balcony. Parking is available on site with a car heating outlet and 2 power outlets, and there is a wood shed with firewood included.
Please note that final cleaning and bed linens are not included in the rental price, but can be purchased separately from the host.
