Enjoy a relaxing getaway in this cosy 63 m² log apartment in a semidetached house in the West Ruka area of Kuusamo. Built in 1983 and renovated in 2008, this single-storey retreat combines traditional log character with practical, year-round comfort. Ideal for families and outdoor enthusiasts, the property features a private electric sauna, a fireplace, and a drying cabinet for winter gear, with the ski lifts 800 m away, cross-country tracks just 100 m from the door, a snowmobile route 200 m away, and Ruka centre approximately 1 km on foot.
The apartment is laid out on a single floor, with a combined kitchen and living room and two separate bedrooms.
Living room & Kitchen: The combined kitchen and living room features a fireplace and comfortable seating with a television, DVD player, and radio. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric stove, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, microwave oven, coffee maker, toaster, and warm running water, plus tableware for 7 people. An iron and a vacuum cleaner are also provided.
Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 has 2 beds, and bedroom 2 has two bunk beds. An extra bed is available, providing sleeping arrangements for up to 7 guests. A baby cot can be rented on request.
Bathroom & Sauna: The bathroom includes a shower, an indoor toilet, a washing machine, and a drying cabinet for your outdoor clothes. Directly connected is your own private sauna with an electric stove.
Outdoor area: Step outside onto the porch/terrace to take in the fresh air. Parking is available on site with a socket for a car heater.
The property is non-smoking and open all year round.
Please note that final cleaning and bed linens are not included in the rental price, but can be purchased separately from the host.
