Welcome to Rukan Kuukkeli D30, a spacious 83 m² kelo log terraced house apartment in the peaceful Huttulampi area of West Ruka (Länsi-Ruka) in Kuusamo. Built in 1989, this two-storey home combines traditional Finnish kelo log character with everyday comforts and suits families and groups of up to 8 guests. Highlights include a private electric sauna, a fireplace, a balcony and a dedicated drying room for outdoor gear. The Ruka ski lifts are 3.5 km away and the golf course 25 km.
The apartment is laid out over two floors, with the open-plan living space and two bedrooms upstairs and a third bedroom downstairs.
Living room & Kitchen: Upstairs you will find an open-plan kitchen and living room with a fireplace, a TV, a DVD player, a CD player and a radio, plus a dining set for six people. The kitchen is equipped with an electric stove, a dishwasher, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a coffee maker, a toaster, a microwave oven and an electric kettle.
Bedrooms: The apartment has three bedrooms. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with three single beds. Downstairs there is a third bedroom with a single bed and a bunk bed, sleeping 8 guests in total.
Bathroom & Sauna: The washroom area includes an indoor toilet, a shower, a washing machine and a hair dryer, alongside your own private electric sauna. A separate drying room with a drying cabinet is available for outdoor clothing and equipment, and ironing and cleaning equipment are provided.
Outdoor area: The apartment has its own balcony. Parking is available in the parking area with one car heating plug, and firewood is available from the on-site firewood storage.
Please note that final cleaning and bed linens are not included in the rental price, but can be purchased separately from the host.
