The Summit House offers convenient access to the lake, local restaurants, shops, and outdoor adventures year-round. The property is tucked among the pines while still being easily accessible from the main road, making it a great home base for lake days, weddings, group gatherings, and mountain getaways. Guests may hear some light road noise during busier times, but the location makes getting around Shaver Lake quick and convenient.

Guests will access the home using the smart lock located on the front door. Access instructions will be provided prior to check-in.

Living Room: Step into a stunning open-concept living space featuring soaring vaulted ceilings, impressive exposed wooden beams, and a breathtaking floor-to-ceiling rock fireplace that creates the ultimate mountain cabin atmosphere. The inviting living room offers a leather couch, two swivel chairs, additional poof seating, and a Smart TV, making it the perfect space to relax after a day at the lake or slopes. Large windows bring in beautiful natural light while showcasing peaceful pine tree and Sierra Nevada mountain views.

Kitchen & Dining: The fully stocked kitchen is designed to make your stay feel easy and comfortable from the moment you arrive. Luxury granite countertops, quality cookware, dishes, utensils, and basic cooking essentials are all provided to help save you time packing. The coffee bar includes an espresso machine, drip coffee maker, complimentary coffee, and tea for guests to enjoy.
The dining table comfortably seats 8 guests, while the breakfast bar offers seating for 2 more. Just off the dining area, you’ll also find a unique bar setup complete with an ice bucket, shaker, and bottle display for those looking to unwind and entertain.
Upon arrival, guests are welcomed with a complimentary basket that includes a bottle of wine and a selection of snacks.

Main Level Primary Bedroom: The primary bedroom is conveniently located on the main level and offers a king-size bed, Smart TV, nightstands with charging ports, and a cozy recliner that creates a quiet reading nook. The attached ensuite bathroom has dual sinks, a jetted bathtub, and a walk-in shower, giving guests a comfortable place to relax and recharge.

Upstairs Bedrooms & Bathroom: Upstairs, you’ll find two beautifully designed guest bedrooms, each featuring queen-size beds, full-length mirrors, plush rugs, cozy accent seating, and warm mountain-inspired touches throughout.

The upstairs bathroom has recently been remodeled and features dual sinks along with a gorgeous marble tile walk-in shower.

Game Room & Lounge: Downstairs, the converted garage has been transformed into a fun hangout space for guests of all ages. The game room includes a combo pool table, ping pong table, and air hockey, making it easy to keep everyone entertained between lake days, ski trips, and quiet nights in.

Connected to the game room is an additional lounge and bar area with a Smart TV, four chairs, and a small half bathroom. This setup is perfect for families and groups who want extra space to spread out, relax, and enjoy time together without having to constantly head back upstairs.
The home also includes a complimentary gear rack with inflatable paddle boards, an inflatable kayak, life jackets, snowshoes, camping chairs, and snow sleds for guests to enjoy during their stay.

Outdoor Spaces: The outdoor setup at The Summit House is truly designed for gathering, relaxing, and making memories together. The home features a large wraparound deck that extends from the front of the house to an expansive covered back deck surrounded by towering pine trees and mountain views.

Guests can enjoy the Blackstone griddle, propane BBQ grill, outdoor lounge seating, dining space, bar seating, hammock, and multiple areas to gather outdoors. Just off the deck are two separate wood-burning firepit areas and a large open section of usable property that creates the perfect environment for yard games, outdoor dining, kids to play, or simply relaxing outside. Guests are welcome to enjoy the provided croquet set during their stay.

On the side of the property, you’ll find an additional landscaped gathering space featuring a charming arbor area that creates a beautiful setting for gatherings with friends and family. Whether you’re visiting for a relaxing weekend getaway, celebrating a milestone, or hosting a small intimate gathering, this flexible outdoor area adds to the unique experience The Summit House has to offer.


- The home features central heating but does NOT have traditional air conditioning. To help keep guests comfortable during warmer months, each bedroom is equipped with its own mini-split cooling system.

- The driveway can comfortably accommodate approximately 5–7 vehicles depending on vehicle size. Please refer to listing photos for parking layout and spacing.

- This home is located near HWY 168, so occasional traffic noise may be heard at times. However, the beautiful mountain views, pine trees, spacious outdoor setup, and overall privacy of the property create a peaceful atmosphere that guests continue to love.

- The property includes multiple indoor and outdoor gathering spaces that make it ideal for families, group trips, retreats, and small celebrations. Standard Airbnb reservations are intended for overnight lodging only. Guests interested in hosting small gatherings, ceremonies, or events must receive approval prior to booking. Event pricing, guest counts, parking, and additional requirements are handled separately through direct inquiry.

- For guests with fragrance sensitivities, please note that the home does use scented air fresheners throughout portions of the property.

- Optional add-on: Two additional (foldable) mattress are available as an add on for additional guests to sleep at the property. We charge an additional $30/person per stay. Please contact host for approval for additional guests.

- Optional add-on: Glamping tent is available as an add on with the choice of a seating arrangement or a bed (pictures coming soon!). Please contact host for additional information.

- Trash: For guests that are staying at the property on Sunday nights, please note that our handyman will stop by the property to take the trash out to be dumped on Monday morning.
