About this cabin rental
Buckeye Bear's Den is tucked in the very popular West Village of Shaver Lake. A prime location, walking distance to stores, restaurants, and just 1/4 mile to the lake. Shaver Lake is the perfect place to vacation. The climate is ideal with cool summers and mild winters. The list of activities is long and includes, hiking, fishing, skiing, sledding, boating, snowmobiling, horseback riding, and more!

When you rent our cabin, you will have the entire cabin during your stay.
You have access to the entire home. I'll send you a personalized key code one week before check-in. Access is that easy :)

Come make some memories with your family. This is a great space for larger groups that enjoy spending time together. Enjoy the large deck with propane BBQ, Smart TV's, board games and more.
There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Please note that the upstairs bathroom has a tub with shower handle and is not a stand up shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to make your favorite meals.
Linens - We DO provide clean linens
Towels - We DO provide clean bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths.
Toiletries - We DO provide shampoo, conditioner, and soap for each bathroom.
We are pet friendly and we are happy to welcome your well house- and furniture-trained pups! We do ask that you clean up after them inside and out. There is a non-refundable pet fee of $150 per stay and that covers up to two dogs. You will want to add this at the time of booking.

As part of our effort to help you relax and enjoy your stay, we have partnered with Safely to provide you with the below protection. The cost of this protection has been included in your rental rate and fees and covers you for accidental damages during your stay. The Trust and Safety Fee includes up to $3,000 of coverage for accidental contents damage and up to $500,000 coverage for accidental property damage and bodily injury. Complete terms regarding the Trust and Safety coverage will be included in your welcome message. The Trust and Safety Fee is refundable only if the reservation is canceled in writing at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the arrival date.

The house is much roomer then you expect. Plenty of seating area with 3 couches. Beds are very comfortable and firm. Perfect distance from town and the lake.

Great cabin, very convenient location. The air quality was pretty bad because of the fires which spoiled our vacation a bit, but the house has AC units in each room, so that helped.

Great location to Shaver town. Loved the big dining table, outside patio and the amount of seating in the living room. I would have liked handrails on the stairs, especially when taking up our luggage. But other than that, the cabin was a great place to stay. Our cabin host was very prompt when responding to all my questions. She also made great suggestions on where to eat and places to explore.

Very Cozy! Our large blended family fit comfortably and absolutely enjoyed this home. We all agreed that we would love to start a family tradition of meeting at Buckeye Den for annual family getaway. The large living room and large dining table gave plenty of space for children and grandchildren and even our fur baby Daisy. We loved this home!
