The Space:
Indulge in the breathtaking forest views from the rear deck, creating a serene setting to unwind, barbecue, and savor the refreshing mountain breeze. Stay cozy with the convenient gas fireplace, and during hot summer days, the air conditioning ensures your comfort. The walkable neighborhood offers an opportunity to encounter a variety of wildlife. Just a short drive away, you'll find the lake, marina, restaurants, and convenience stores. Enjoy the ease of flat parking, complimentary Wi-Fi, and a fun ping pong table!
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the whole cabin, game room garage, deck, and community amenities such as walking paths, a convenient community dumpster (rare in Shaver!), and plowed roads in the winter.
The Neighborhood:
Located right off Tollhouse Road, this cabin is very easy to access in any season. The Sierra Pines neighborhood is a community of recently built grand log cabins with modern amenities. This cabin is special because it backs up to open forest ground, allowing for beautiful uninterrupted views and easy access to snow trails and adventure. Just a few miles south of downtown, you're out of the the hustle and bustle during busy weekends, but close enough to enjoy restaurants, grocery stores, shops, and water sports with just a few minutes drive.
Getting Around:
We suggest using your own vehicle to get around. Make sure you stay updated with road conditions. In the winter, 4WD/chains may be required by CHP.
Other Things to Note:
This is a large cabin and a great space for families or couples traveling together. This is NOT the space for parties or large, loud gatherings of any kind. We have neighbors on both sides of the cabin, though there are no neighbors behind, allowing for amazing views off the back deck!
In the winter, guests will likely need 4WD and/or tire chains to navigate the snowy/icy roads, even though they are plowed. The deck may not be available right after a snow storm (it will be covered in snow).
All hiking trails, lake activities, etc., are done at your own risk. There are wild animals including bears, mountain lions, deer, and other animals that call Shaver Lake home. Please keep an eye on children and don't leave trash or food outside.

Easy to find and just minutes from Shaver Lake. As with most rentals today (Post Covid), bring your own condiments and spices. Note you will most likely have to get extra toilet paper as there was only one per bathroom.The sitting on the deck in the evening with the gas fire ring was one of the highlights of the trip.We had some mechanical issues during our stay. The management was quick to respond to our needs. Unfortunately, things break and cant be helped/fixed in the time you may be staying.Instructions on parking; the handbook says park in appropriate areas, not sure what that means as nothing in the complex was marked. Driveway is a little short so long pickup trucks might not fit. Great for pets. There were towels in the garage to wipe down the pooch. There was a faucet right outside to wash them down. We brought a bucket but a hose would have been perfect.

The house had plenty of parking, towels, comfortable beds, plates, glasses, and tableware for our family of eight. We loved the location and enjoyed our stay.
