In a world of mediocre sparsely furnished vacation homes there is one shining light high on the mountain. It’s the Shaver Dream Cabin! Located in Wildflower Village, named for its abundance of wild flowers. It is a quiet, peaceful community with hiking trails and wildlife.
As you enter the front door your eyes are flooded with a most incredible view of the Central Valley all the way to the coastal range. This impressive “Dream Cabin” was designed and built with the finest materials and appointments at every turn. Huge picture windows bring the forest inside where you are so high up it seems as if you are in a luxurious tree house. Your hosts spent a lifetime in the design and furniture making business and have spared no expense from the high end mattresses to the state of the art 4k TVs in every room. Perhaps nowhere is this more evident than the Rustic Home theater with power reclining theater seating, an 86” 4k TV and a spectacular surround sound system complete with a powerful sub woofer. A full size Murphy bed too. A luxurious Sundance Spa has just been added on the upper deck level. Also on the lower level two bedrooms with queen beds, a bunk bed room and two bathrooms.
Back up on the main level you will enjoy a most comfortable living room with top grain leather seating and a 75” 4k TV as well as a beautiful wood stove with an elaborate stone surround. The gourmet kitchen will please the most discerning chef with its Thermador appliances and large granite island bar and adjacent dining room. The master suite is found up on this main level with a cal king bed, 75” 4k TV and the most awesome rock walk in shower and bathroom you may ever see. A half bath and laundry room round out the main floor. The entire Dream Cabin has wrap around decks with Brazilian hardwood. A Sundance spa has just been added on the upper deck level. The cabin is equipped with a cooling system that keeps the place very cool in the summer months. The home has a back up generator that kicks on in the unlikely event of a power outage. This place is AMAZING!!! The hosts put so much time and effort into providing a great experience; you can feel it in all the little touches! Bernie was super communicative and they have notes/instructions for everything (how to work the tvs/bbq, etc), so that helped us to be able to just relax and enjoy the scenery (the view from the deck is AWESOME)!

Our family had the most wonderful stay at the Dream Cabin! The house was incredibly comfortable, clean, well outfitted, beautiful views and outstanding location. Bernie was amazing to work with! He even went the extra effort to find an item we left behind and mailed it back to us. We really are grateful. I highly recommend the Dream Cabin! Our family will definitely be back!

Cabin was Beautiful! A few small issues- nothing to worry about. We had a great Getaway! Host was very accommodating & very nice!

Out over all stay was great the only issue was that the Trash pickup Tuesday thru Saturday was never picked, and it was full when we arrived. We did have room in the recycle bin, but we took all our extra trash that did not fit in trash bin down the mountain to a dumpster. It snowed the first night about 10"inches which made for perfect sledding and building snowmen was Great! The Cabin was very nice and all the family members were happy! We look forward to booking another trip soon! Thank You!
