Golden Sands Coastal Retreat

The tv was small considering what seems normal nowadays and barely watchable as the TiVo system and internet continually froze and so many channels were unavailable…. We did notice the shower seemed to leak out from under the cooker after use.

In the mobile there was no information telling us how certain things worked, for instance we could only get heat in the shower by turning the tap on over the bathroom sink to hot and leaving it running whilst you showered. If you turned the tap off with the shower running it became extremely cold, sure it should not be like this. The shower alone did not fire the combi boiler up for hot water. We only found this out by trial and error, so either a big problem there or definitely needs an instruction sheet printing. Situation was brilliant on the site for all amenities. Problems getting the television to function too in the evening. The only way we could watch anything was by going to BBC iplayer or ITVX as programmes on the guide would not select ☹️. Out most days so just wanted to relax in the evenings and chill with a cuppa in the warm round the TV.

Not having to chase for the towels that should have been there. And would also suggest a bath mat be placed outside the shower to avoid slipping over, as nothing given to use for this purpose. First time we’ve stayed somewhere where this happened. We are not fussy people but of a certain age where falling is not recommended. We did enjoy our stay regardless of these small irritations, please take these comments as constructive criticism rather than complaints, for your future guests.
