About this cabin rental
The living area has a fully equipped eat-in kitchen, a wood-burning stove, 43" Roku TV, and a queen sofa-sleeper. The bedroom has a queen bed, its own Roku TV, and a peekaboo view of the ocean. The ensuite bathroom has floor-to-ceiling sea-glass green tile, a teak folding bench, two shower heads, and a built-in niche stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. All rooms have in-floor radiant heat with individual thermostats. When our neighbors' hens are laying, we leave a complimentary six-pack of farm-fresh eggs for you.
Outside: An acre to yourselves — covered porch, south-facing open deck, BBQ, and propane fire table. You can see the Pacific through the pines. In the morning, pour a cup of coffee and ease into the day with birdsong and sea lions in the distance. Deer, quail, and the occasional fox wander through; Pelican Bluffs and Cook's Beach are a short drive when you're ready to explore.
A few notes: During the day you'll hear Highway 1 (it's a two-lane road), but it quiets down at night. Our neighbors' three Labs may occasionally wander over to say hello; just let us know if you'd like them to head home. The water is creek-fed and triple-ozone filtered, fine for cooking and showering; we stock bottled water for drinking.
This has been our family's place for nearly five decades. We take good care of it, and we're here if you need anything.
