Sunny spacious apartment for 3, where historic Alfama meets the waterfront. Alfama is the heart of Lisbon, bustling with life, restaurants and fado houses! The Castle and the Cathedral are right nearby.
The unit is on the 1st floor of a typical renovated building. It has no lift, you have to climb 12 steps. The balconies, overlooking a lively and sometimes noisy street, are perfect for people-watching.
In the luminous living room you can use the large table to work or to take your meals. There's also a comfortable double bed and a sofa, TV and Wi-Fi.
The bedroom has one single bed and a wardrobe, with extra blankets and an iron. Bed linen is provided, as well as two pillows per guest.
The bathroom has a bathtub and bidet, with two towels provided per guest. The kitchen is fully equipped, allowing you to cook and eat inside if you just prefer. Other than the stove, oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, and washer, you'll also find a Nespresso machine with complimentary pods, an electric kettle and a toaster.
From the apartment you can reach all historic districts just walking, and downtown (Baixa) is only ten minutes away.
You're also close to the subway, to train stations Santa Apolónia and Rossio, to boat stations, to many buses and to tuktuks. You could hardly find a more central and connected place.
From the airport to the apartment it's a 20 minutes ride, only an Uber, Bolt or taxi may be your best option. By subway it takes you 50 minutes but only costs you €1.90 and you only change lines once. If you arrive by train, station Santa Apolónia is only 12 minutes walking. If you bring your car, there are paid parking spots on the street and an underground parking lot nearby (search for EMEL Campo das Cebolas to see location and prices).
PLEASE BEWARE that in June there's loud music till late in the night, due to St Anthony's feast. St Anthony is the patron of Lisbon, and during the whole month people dance and mingle and eat grilled sardines and «caldo verde» until dawn. It's the biggest popular feast in Lisbon, a favorite of Lisboners, and the best place to be if you want to join in. But it's not advisable if you're looking for a restful stay.
