About this cottage rental
Nestled in a private position, in the heart of the picture post card town of Aberfeldy. The town boasts an array of excellent eateries, friendly inns, quirky shops and cinema. Aberfeldy stands on the River Tay, perfect for salmon and trout fishing. Amidst magnificent scenery and is the ideal base for exploring the lochs and glens of Highland Perthshire. The area boasts a wealth of outdoor activities including golf, walking, climbing, cycling, canoeing, sailing, angling, ornithology, mountain safaris, off-road driving and riding. Enjoy a cruise on Loch Tay, explore Glen Lyon, Scotland's longest glen, or visit Dewar's Aberfeldy Distillery or one of the many National Trust sites and historic buildings to be found in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Entering the charming cottage from the garden into the hall, through to the spacious light and bright lounge/kitchen/diner. Lounge area with TV/DVD and CD player, ideal for relaxing after a day out exploring the local area. The kitchen area is well-equipped for those wishing to cook with electric oven and gas hob, fridge and microwave. The dining area is perfect for a romantic gathering. Next you are met with the shower room with shower and WC and utility room with a very handy washing machine and tumble dryer. Heading up the stairs, you will find the lovely spacious king-size bedroom with TV/DVD, Juliet balcony and seating area, a lovely spot to relax and perhaps enjoy a good book. Followed by the en-suite bathroom with bath and WC.
Venturing outside to the private enclosed garden with patio, BBQ and furniture. Perfect for al fresco dining and lazy evening star gazing. Guests may also enjoy the beautiful mature garden grounds of the main house.
