Very quiet area in an excellent location not far from shops, distillery and other tourist attractions.
We were staying for a wedding and the lodge had everything we needed for a comfortable few nights stay. The lodge was fairly new so everything worked perfectly. The host was very helpful when we needed some assistance with the internet.

Good small house with enough space for the three of us
Sofa not particularly comfy and no cushions. No welcome leaflet saying about things like the rubbish or suppling fire wood and obvious WiFi code. Also a little annoying that the bathroom sink did not have a plug so made washing/ shaving very awkward

the location and set up of the accommodation was lovely.
A short walk into Aberfeldy and the distillery was ideal for a day out but then returning to the quiet location of the accommodation.
unfortunately we had some issues with the cleanliness of the accommodation. Downstairs floors had not been swept or mopped prior to our arrival and still had the previous occupants dirt along with some cobwebs in the sitting area. The main bedroom beside table was covered in dust which meant it obviously had not been dusted in a long time. Wear and tear is to be expected but dirt and dust is not something we were expecting to have to tackle when we arrived.
We also arrived expecting a highchair to be available but unfortunately there was none in the accommodation making mealtimes harder with a 7 month old. therefore I would say the accommodation is not appropriate for families with infants unless you are taking all your equipment with you.
We also found in comparison to one of the other houses that our family members was staying in ours also had a lot less elements in the kitchen than what they had which was a shame especially since we had paid more for our 4 nights.

It was clean and well laid out
The upstairs toilet was broken and continued to flush all the time so we had to stop using it. I told the owners but hit nothing back. I think the map on booking.com is massively misleading as it shows the property next to the golf course whereas it’s well out of town with a walk along the main road
