About this cottage rental
Decorated in neutral tones throughout, this contemporary home is perfect for a family group of six and is situated close to the centre of the Cornish town of St Ives. The stunning shores of Porthmeor Beach are just 0.5 miles away, a great spot for sunbathing and surfing. Within the town, you will find plenty to whet everyone's appetite, from independent shops and restaurants to intriguing galleries and museums. Set off on foot along the South West Coast Path, a long-distance route hugging the coastline where you can soak up spectacular views. Hop in the car and head to the south coast of Cornwall and visit the tidal island of St Michael's Mount (8 miles) and the market town of Penzance (8.5 miles)
Park up on the driveway and step through the porch into the spacious hallway of this reverse-level home. The bedrooms are all located on the ground floor – choose from three light and bright bedrooms, 1 with a super king, 1 with a double, and 1 a welcoming zip and link twin bedroom (can be made up as a king on request). The stylish family bathroom has a walk-in shower with a rainfall shower head, and a utility area completes the ground floor of this home. Upstairs, the open-plan living space makes the best of the panoramic sea views. To one side, a contemporary kitchen has a double oven and plenty of surface and storage space to create meals for all occasions, which you can eat together at the dining table in front of the window. Once you have filled yourselves up, get comfortable in the lounge on the sumptuous sofas and flick on the Smart TV.
Outside, an enclosed patio garden is a real sun trap and has garden furniture so you can dine alfresco in the balmy evenings.
