We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful village. Communication with the owner, Jane, was excellent from start to finish. We were a family of five, with children aged 6, 9 and 11, and the accommodation was perfect for our needs. The downstairs living space was cosy, comfortable and a lovely place to relax after a day out. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed to self-cater throughout our week. The bedrooms were a good size, and the family bathroom upstairs was also perfect for us. The location is ideal for exploring the beautiful surrounding countryside. The train station is just a 10-minute walk away, which was particularly convenient. We used the train for day trips to Ribblehead Viaduct and Pen-y-ghent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-equipped base in a beautiful location.

The only minor issue was that parking wasn’t always available directly outside the cottage. However, there was ample parking further into the village, just a 2–3 minute walk away, so this wasn’t a major inconvenience.
