2 Bed Period Flat with parking

It feels a little wrong to be writing another review of this place so soon as I stayed here around a month ago. This visit was a repeat of the same positive experience. Comfortable beds, responsive and accommodating hosts, great facilities (I mean, a host who understands one toilet roll is not enough for two people for four days! Haha! :D ) - little touches, like surface spray under the kitchen sink, and a useable kitchen with all the bits you need.

Again, I'm only writing this so you know this is a real review, but as SMALL criticism would be how light it is in the bedrooms in the morning. I guess, October to April, it won't be an issue, but, the curtains / blinds in the bedrooms are great for privacy, but not so good for light blocking... (See? That's the worst thing I could think of!)

Location was great right in the centre of Ross on Wye. The property is very spacious. Parking was great at the back of the flat. Communication was great with the owners.

As it is in the centre the road outside is quite noisy. It is an older property.

Great location. It was so comfortable and homely. We would definately stay there again.

Nothing not to like.

The apartment is in an amazing location, and the parking space is a blessing! The bed is comfortable, and the whole place feels really clean and cared for. Unlike some "AirBnB" style places available, this one feels like the owners actually care about their guests, leaving plenty of toilet paper, clean washing up sponge, hand soap, and all those little touches that make you feel welcome. The sheets smelled like detergent (in a good way... like they were clean and laundered), and the plates and cutlery in the kitchen were also clean. A real win was that they'd provided fans! The couple of nights we stayed were in the middle of a heatwave, so it was unbearably hot (totally outside the hosts control - just the climate this summer!), so those fans made the nights way more bearable. With many cafes, shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, and a lovely church, all close by, this little gem is somewhere I would definitely book again. Great communication from the hosts too.

Being in the centre of town, there is the noise of cars in the nights when the windows are open (seriously, who needs an exhaust that loud! ;) ), and the apartment is really not suitable if you're not physically able given the steps and uneven floors due to the age of the building / layout. None of this was an issue for us, but, I know if it was my Mum staying there, I'd want someone to have highlighted it's not easy for those with limited mobility. Honestly though, this is NOT a complaint - the apartment is lovely, with wonderful hosts, just trying to be an informative reviewer!
