The location of the property was excellent & very central to the centre. There was a party of 4 couples & the communal areas were very comfortable & well equipped. All bedrooms were spacious, 2 of them being en suite. There are 2 other separate bathrooms...one of them being enormous! The other bathroom had no power to it ... having said that it didn't detract from our stay. Although no parking available there is 2 hours free parking close by allowing loading/unloading. There are several car parks nearby ... some as little as £2.50 for 24 hours. Would highly recommend.
Nothing to dislike!!

Excellent location
The bedding for the last 2 beds were not available but we managed to find them in the bathroom. So it would have been better if that was clearly mentioned.

Some carpet coming away from the stairs . Bit of a slip hazard

It’s fabulously located right in the heart of the town. It’s beautifully decorated and feels very homely. Very spacious and plenty of bathrooms.
It really could do with some wardrobes or hanging rails. There is absolutely no where to put clothing.

Great Location with Character
The house had a quirky charm and was in a great central location — perfect for accessing local amenities, restaurants, and pubs. The key code entry was convenient and easy to use, which made check-in simple.
Disappointing Stay – Poor Communication and Maintenance Issues
Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing from the start. The property was not cleaned on arrival, and we had to wait for cleaners to attend after contacting the host. While the cleaning was eventually done, we then discovered that the downstairs bathroom door was locked and none of the electric sockets downstairs were working — meaning no TV, no use of the shower, and other major inconveniences.
We informed the host straight away and let them know we would be out between 9am and 3pm due to attending a funeral, hoping the issues would be addressed during that time. However, we didn’t hear anything back until after we had left the property, when the host asked whether the electrician had been — which clearly hadn’t happened.
To make matters worse, during a storm on Thursday morning, the electrics kept cutting in and out, adding to the overall poor experience. Disappointed with the lack of communication and the unresolved issues.

Lovely location and very helpful hosts.
Only some minor things really. The kitchen could have done with some more kitchenware, for example there was no cheese grater, and the seating around the table wasn't comfortable - could have done with proper chairs.

Size, well equipped, comfortable beds, everything worked, beautiful property
Nothing to dislike
We would have liked somewhere to hang out clothes. No wardrobes in any of the five bedrooms

Lovely house on three levels, interesting and entertaining decor, comfortable beds, all mod cons in the kitchen, even a piano in the basement. Right beside Ross-on-Wye centre so easy to get out to breakfast cafes, pubs and restaurants, and an easy walk down to the river (although a bit steep coming back!) Free overnight parking was not a problem to get very nearby - at least at the time we travelled (April) - provided you checked the terms and conditions. The big car parks were only £1 all day anyway. Ross is delightful, lively and lovely in the sun by the river.
Sharing bathrooms was not ideal, we had queues to use the facilities in the morning. Two top rooms had en suite anyway so not a big deal. The basement shower was unsuited to large people!

It was an excellent old property with lots interesting features and en suite in two bedrooms and tastefully decorated throughout and very handy for shops and restaurants etc
The windows being from a older house were a bit drafty in some of the rooms which was understandable

Perfectly located 4 bedroom house in centre of Ross on Wye just steps away from shops, bars and restaurants. Easy communication with owner who kindly facilitated early check in and late check out. Very Clean house all bed linen and towels provided the downstairs loo invaluable to 7 middle aged women.
The house is crammed full of furniture and over the top decorations and light fittings and even though the house and annex can accommodate 10 people there is no one room in the house where 10 people (not even 8) can be comfortably sat together to relax and socialise. The sofas are more suitable for an afternoon tea for 5 people and the glass table is certainly not designed for more than 5 people comfortably and the top moves around a lot rendering it quite unstable. There is no back door to the house nor outside space at all. No tea towels or anything to wash dishes or clean up. We had to request bin bags and dish washer tabs and buy kitchen roll cos none was available. The instructions in the house booklet are sparse and need to be padded out with much more info. The fridge is tiny far too small for 8 guests and the cooking pans and utensils also inadequate sadly . The annex which is on the ground floor under the main house smells so strongly of damp none of us could cope with breathing the air inside so no one stayed in there we only used the main house. There are no wardrobes in any of the bedroom just a handfull of coat hangers for guests clothes and nowhere to hang or store coats other than on the back of chairs

Great location in the heart of Ross on Wye. Good size bedrooms and comfortable beds. Nice kitchen diner for socialising. Very clean. Parking permits provided in the house.
The decor was a bit over the top for our taste and it was difficult to get around the house with so many decorative items. Eg chairs right in front of bedroom drawers, statues on the stairs. Top right bedroom en-suite shower needs a mat as it’s slippery and sloped. Some of the many lamps need new bulbs. Would have been useful to know about parking permits in advance.
