We loved place. Will be coming again. The location of the cottage was just perfect. It was easy to walk 5 mins through the cemetery to the town. The cottage was lovely. The bed rooms were good sizes and the layout was great. Hot tub was nice and hot and the garden area was big enough for us. We loved the bedrooms being downstairs as was so easy to dash to the shower from the hot tub and let the dog out in the night. The open plan upstairs was really well designed. We have already spoken about coming back again.
We really enjoyed our stay and its so hard to saying anything otherwise. Only small little things I would say are the shower screen in the main bathroom is too small so the shower splashes onto the floor every time. A mat inside the back door would be handy as coming in when a bit wet from the hot tub or dog pawprints. and a bin outside for dog poo as there is not access to the front so we passed it over the wall would have just made it easier to empty.

We loved the location so easy to walk into town through the Church Graveyard. It was very hot when we stayed and the bedrooms being downstairs were very cool. It had everything we needed
The only thing I would say is....Ensuite needs a towel rail or some hooks to hang towel and clothes while showering...and the floor of shower was very slippery. But all spotlessly clean and easy to use.

5 min walk to the centre of Ross through the graveyard
glasses needed washing. the beds were small, the single bed broke when I sat on it. the furniture was far from luxurious. the towels were cheap, like cardboard. nowhere to hang wet towels. the house needed a womans touch.

This was an amazing property, clean, spacious with large equipped kitchen, and lounge area upstairs, with three large bedrooms downstairs, one with an en suite. The log fires hot tub was brilliant, especially as we were doing a 100 mile charity challenge over the three days we stayed!
Nothing! We will definitely be back, probably with our partners next time and the landlord couldn’t do enough to make our stay perfect, extra logs and flexible with check in times.

lovely spacious, well appointed accommodation had all of the amenities we needed, friendly helpful owners on site. very pleasant short walk, five minutes, through church yard to town, but still quite quiet and secluded.
Ideal base for exploring that beautiful part of the country. Would definitely go back again
not a problem for us but access could be difficult for anyone with mobility issues,, lots of stairs!

The property was clean and spacious and it had good facilities and was adequately equipped. There was spacious parking for 2 cars and it was in a quiet, peaceful, beautiful location off a private road. The cottage was a very close and convenient proximity to the centre of Ross. It took about 5 minutes to brisk walk into town. We will definitely consider this property if we are staying in Ross again.
It was a quirky property that you entered on the first floor and took a stairway down to the bedrooms. This design meant the natural light lit up the living and kitchen areas (a definite plus) but meant you had to navigate the staircase every time you needed the bathroom. This was fine for us but we travelled with lesser mobile adults that found this inconvenient. We stayed in February and it took a long time to heat up the property. The beds had weak slats under the mattress that collapsed easily. These are the only minor disadvantages.

The cottage was extremely well appointed, everything worked as it should and the pictures didn't do justice to the space. The wood fired hot tub was a really good experience, it takes about 2 hours to bring it to a good temperature and remains very hot for hours. Lovely views too. I would return.
Nothing, everything was lovely

Beautifully appointed property, super clean and friendly helpful hosts. Situated within easy reach of town centre and in lovely grounds. Pub at top of road does excellent home cooked food.

Hot tub was good. Large open plan layout in main room
Host didn't send code to box until prompted - so quite late. Insufficient wine glasses for 6 people. No river view as promised. Description indicated much bigger garden than reality

Spacious and within easy walking distance of the town centre.
Not enough comfortable chairs for 6 people to sit - only 2 x 2 seater sofas. Garden space at the rear of the property too small for 6 guests and 2 dogs. Nice large lawn area at the front but discouraged for use and no garden furniture available. Had some issues with the TV as the remote control didn’t appear to operate the tv properly. Extractor fan in the main bathroom inadequate to deal with 4 people having a shower and bathroom constantly damp as a result. Mirrors in the bedrooms would have been useful.

A beautiful cottage in a quiet residential area of Ross on Wye, but still only a 5min approx walk into town. Nicely presented and very spacious, would definitely stay again.
