St Anne Palace by Tritoni Prestige

We absolutely loved our stay at St Anne’s Palace! The building itself is stunning, with beautiful historic architecture and stylish furnishings that complement the natural stonework perfectly. Our room felt luxurious yet incredibly comfortable. The enormous bed was a dream to sleep in, the room was filled with natural sunlight, and the AC was excellent. Everything felt thoughtfully considered, from the beautiful flowers in the bathroom to the gorgeous-smelling toiletries. It was these little touches that made the stay feel extra special. The location was also perfect. It was peaceful and tucked away from the noise of central Valletta, yet close enough to walk into the heart of the city in minutes. It was also a fantastic base for exploring the rest of Malta. What really made our stay exceptional, though, was the staff. From the moment we checked in, everyone was incredibly warm, welcoming and accommodating. They always greeted us with a smile and seemed genuinely lovely, rather than simply being polite. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, helped us arrange laundry services and even made us the most delicious iced coffees! It’s rare to find somewhere that combines such a beautiful setting, thoughtful attention to detail and genuinely wonderful hospitality. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Malta and would happily return!

La chambre est très grande et confortable. Le personnel est très gentil, serviable et sympathique. L'emplacement à La Valette est très bon : à 7-8 min à pied du centre ville, à 5 min du terminal de bus ou 5 min d'une importante station qui dessert toute l'île. La piscine dans l'hôtel n'est pas grande mais permet de se relaxer après une journée de visite : très bien.

Des petits détails : Prévoir une paroi en verre autour de la douche : après une douche, la salle de bain est un peu inondée, heureusement qu'elle est très grande. J'ai trouvé le jus d'orange du déjeuner mauvais.

Fantastic hotel. Great location (just 10min walk to the main shopping area). Everything is new. Staff is fantastic. Free wifi was really fast. Rooms are stunning. Breakfast was very good - lots of meats, hot foods (sausages, scrambled eggs, hash browns), pastries, fruit, cereal, and they'll make you a fresh omlette.

They didn't have lotion/creme which would have been nice.

The hotel has an excellent location, making it easy to explore Valletta on foot. The entire staff was highly motivated and extremely friendly. Drinks ordered at the bar were delivered to our room at no additional charge. The room service was also excellent. Our room was cleaned to a very high standard and even tidied up during our stay. You could genuinely feel the high level of motivation and dedication among every single member of staff. The occasion for our trip was my wife’s birthday. In advance of our stay, I contacted the hotel to ask about bookable surprise packages. I was offered the option of arranging a bouquet of flowers. However, given the Maltese weather, I found this rather unsuitable for the occasion. I would have appreciated the option of booking a champagne package instead, especially since champagne is served in the hotel’s restaurant

We booked a “Signature Terrace Room with Jacuzzi”, so our expectations were accordingly high. In particular, I was really looking forward to the authentic Maltese style of the rooms shown in the pictures. We stayed in room 404, directly opposite the pool. Unfortunately, the style of the room was completely different from what was shown in the pictures. Overall, it gave the impression that the room had not originally been designed as a hotel room, but had been hastily converted and furnished afterwards. The expected level of privacy was also not provided, as the only separation between the room’s terrace and the pool area consisted of sparsely planted trees. The jacuzzi was a small two-person jacuzzi and had lost so much water by the second evening that it could no longer be used. After we informed the receptionist, she kindly arranged for it to be refilled that same evening. Unfortunately, by the following evening, the water level was too low again, suggesting that the jacuzzi had a leak. There was also a broken tile directly next to the jacuzzi, which presented a potential risk of injury. Several other tiles were damaged as well, with some having very large and uneven gaps between them. The painting work in the room was also quite untidy, and an overly bright emergency exit light had been covered with aluminium foil, which did not give a particularly professional impression. Overall, the standard rooms may well offer good value for money, but in my opinion, the jacuzzi rooms do not. Considering the price and the expectations created by the pictures, I was unfortunately very disappointed with our room.
