A really nice apartment called 'Helsinki' which is located in the middle of Sliema. The location was perfect. The apartment itself has a big cozy terrace which is the highlight of the apartment. We really liked it and enjoyed our time there. The apartment has everything you need, the kitchen is really nice, toilet also. There are little shops around if you need groceries. Bonus is a cozy little coffee bar on the ground floor of the building which has it's own charm.

Two little things to improve for the future. Put a better sunshade on the window near the bed since the window is oriented to the east. The bed was okay, maybe a stiffer mattress would improve comfort.

The location was in a great location with shops nearby and also a Lidl with food places available. All the facilities worked well and we were given multiple towels during our stay. The beds were comfy and the fans worked well as it does get quite hot. We were also able to leave our luggage in lockers as we were returning in the evening so we could still enjoy our last day.

The full length mirror could’ve been in a better location just because of lighting purposes but overall everything was great

Great location, very nice staff. Studios clean and modern. Everything you need. Great coffee shop downstairs where you have a discount if you are a guest. We will be back.

The location was convenient, and the café next door was helpful when we needed assistance. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was functional. It was nice that there was a coffee machine with many coffee pods provided. The apartment also had useful extras, such as a UK-to-European socket adapter. The idea of having luggage lockers before check-in was useful, although the access process could be improved.

We had a flight arriving at 9:00 AM, but check-in was only available after 2:00 PM. Early check-in was not available. The property allowed guests to store luggage in lockers until check-in, but the problem was that the access code for the building entrance was only sent shortly before 2:00 PM. This meant we could not access the lockers ourselves. We were lucky that the café next door was open and they let us into the building and showed us where to leave our bags. The lockers had locks, but we were not provided with the lock code, so we had to leave our luggage in an unlocked locker at our own risk. There is also no host or reception at the property, only a cleaner who may not always be there. We returned at 2:00 PM to check in, but the room was still not ready because the previous guests had checked out late. We had to wait another 30 minutes or more while the cleaner prepared the room. After a night flight and spending around five hours in the heat, this was extremely frustrating. There was no apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience. When we finally entered the room, we were hit by an overwhelming smell of air fresheners. There were scented sticks in every corner, and it seemed like the pillows, mattresses, and other fabrics had been heavily sprayed with the same fragrance. While it is better than a bad smell, the scent was so strong that it constantly irritated our noses and made it difficult to relax. The photos of the property are misleading. They create an impression that the apartment is closer to the beach or the water, but this is not actually the case. The images also appear outdated, as the real condition of the property looked more worn and scattered. We stayed in the first apartment on the first floor. The window was broken and could not be fully closed. The walls had bubbles. There was mold in the shower. Some forks and dishes were dirty when we arrived.
