Villa Anthiros is a property nestled in the natural surroundings of Ognina, a picturesque fishing village in the province of Syracuse, just 200 meters from the crystal-clear sea and a 10-minute drive from the historic center of Syracuse and the island of Ortigia.
The property features 4 independent apartments, all on the first floor with their own entrance and a private veranda, ideal for those seeking a peaceful stay surrounded by nature and close to the sea. The accommodations vary in size and layout: from the largest three-room apartments—one of which features a bathroom that was completely renovated in early 2026—to a more compact three-room apartment with a shaded veranda, to a charming studio apartment ideal for couples. All apartments feature a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning in all bedrooms, and high-quality linens included.
Guests of the villa have access to a range of shared amenities designed to enhance their stay: a small communal garden, a barbecue area for evenings with friends, an outdoor shower to cool off after a day at the beach, a laundry area with a washing machine, and free use of bicycles to explore the coast and the village of Ognina. Parking is free and available on the street, in front of the property gate.
Villa Anthiros is ideally located for exploring the best of southeastern Sicily: the beach at Fontane Bianche, just 2 km away; historic Syracuse, home to the Greek Theater and the Baroque Cathedral of Ortigia, 10 km away; the Cava Grande del Cassibile Nature Reserve in Avola, 13 km away; and the splendid Baroque town of Noto, an UNESCO World Heritage Site, 25 km away.
