La Casa di Manu Ortigia

The location is spectacular, just 1 minute walk from the best beach on the island of Ortigia and 5 minutes walk from the main square and the Cathedral. The apartment was clean and spacious for a little family with a baby. Our host Giulia was very kind and attentive, and she provided everything that we needed.

The humidity is high on the island, so I would not suggest others to wash clothes there, as it will not dry. The natural light is limited, as it is on the ground floor. The following only applies to our stay, but unfortunately there was renovation work done on the facade of the building with scaffolding and noisy workers early in the morning at 07:30. We had prior to our stay been informed that the work would be concluded before our arrival, however this did not happen and was disappointing. Of course it was out of our host's control, but it did affect our stay.

Stor , fräsch lägenhet som ligger centralt i ett populärt område. På 2 minuters promenad finns en liten gratis strand , restauranger, caféer, shopping.Allt man behöver för matlagning finns i lägenheten. Stort sovrum med superskön stor dubbelsäng och tystgående AC. Badrummet ligger en suite och är rymligt, finns tvättmaskin. Värdinnan är hjälpsam och svarar på alla frågor, engelska inga problem. Vi rekommenderar gärna denna lägenhet och återvänder gärna.

Pulizia, posizione e disponibilità degli host!

We have just returned from our second stay this year at La Casa di Manu. Once again, we loved our 10 days at the apartment, which is extremely comfortable featuring all the home comforts including dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. We slept really well on the very comfortable bed. Location is ideal for visiting the places of interest in Ortigia, all within easy walking distance including a lot of very good restaurants! Our airport transfer was organised by Giulia who is very helpful, welcoming and friendly, as is Emanuele. We very much hope to be able to return for a third visit next year.
