We really enjoyed our stay at Blackstone Grove Villa. It’s a modern and well-equipped home that still feels authentically Balinese. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, and the living areas are great for spending time with family and friends. The piano and guitar are a nice touch, along with the pool table and large screen. The gym is not huge but is ideal for a quick workout. The outdoor spaces are perfect for relaxing with a spacious yoga shala, large pool and bubbling pool area overlooking the jungle, with beautiful sunset views. The location is great, as it took less than 15 minutes to reach central Ubud by Grab and food delivery is super easy. The neighbourhood is quiet with a small shop and a local warung around the corner, which is convenient for quickly grabbing some drinks or snacks. A quick walk around the villa led us to a local temple and rice fields behind the property, completely away from the usual tourist trails. Big thanks to the villa host, Made, and his team, who were incredibly friendly and helpful both before and throughout our stay. Overall, it really feels like having your own private resort. We had a fantastic time and will definitely come back!
