The stay was excellent, a complete hideaway

The villa was awesome. Closer to main marketplace in ubud. Staff was very helpful and friendly .

The swimming pool is very deep , 1,8 meters which makes it unusable by non swimmers and floating breakfast.Breakfast and dinner options were limited . The staff showed limited knowledge about activities around Ubud.

Really comfortable stay at Samaya, very friendly staff, no hesitations in recommending it to others.

It’s a very beautifully set hotel in private villas on a hill. The breakfast area is exceptional because you can look out onto a rice terrace with a forest view and mountain/hill in the background. The villas themselves are incredibly comfortable and clean. The staff are amazingly kind and attentive, ready at the willing to complete your wish! Felt a little bit like a queen! The food at Swept Away restaurant was good with a nice setting. Free shuttle into town and pick up.

It’s a little bit set back from the town and traffic can be a killer to get to and from. However if you are aware of this then you can adjust your timings accordingly so not really a problem.

The spa was excellent, the staffs are dedicated and heart warming! The manager , Ms Ariani is excellent in ensuring customers are well taken care off! The therapist , Surini is indeed a talent! Thank you for taking care of me.

Literally everything. The location is ideal, with just enough distance from the centre while maintaining the peace and calm of nature

the breakfast menu did not explain well in English what each dish was. The English version of the breakfast menu could perhaps be rewritten to better illustrate this to guests.

Beautiful stunning Hotel

Beautiful stunning hotel, breakfast was very good, private pool was fab and the facilities were amazing. Staff were so good always happy to help, nothing was to much trouble.

It’s hard to fault this beautiful Hotel! I did dine in the restaurant on my first night after travelling all day, the food was very good And my only complaint would be that the staff although brilliant were perhaps a little to helpful. I was a solo traveller and each bite I took, someone was asking me if everything was ok, or could they get me anything. Not necessarily a criticism but did get a little annoying.

What makes Samaya special is not just the property by People there. One of the best I have ever met

I was welcomed by the entire Samaya Team when I arrived at the Hotel. The team welcomed myself and the family with Flower Neck Piece and Welcome drinks, Gifts for my Daughter and the most important aspect was the team spirit and large smiles that make you feel home. The restaurant facilities either for breakfast or diner are just amazing. I would like to thank the entire team and especially Wayan Angga, Komang Augustiana and Wayananch. Keep up the great job guys Great Job Samaya Team and keep it up.

the grounds are immaculate, villas spacious and private and the staff just go above and beyond to cater to everything. wish I could have stayed longer!

We were greeted kindly by The General Manager himself upon arrival. The check in clerk was very friendly and helpful. Pretty good for Breakfast. The serene and lush atmosphere made our holiday very enjoyable.

The light inside our private pool is not on. We already asked for it to be repaired, but until we we check out, no one is working on it.

A much needed relaxing getaway

the location was spot on! and the view from our villa was so gorgeous, felt like we had our own paradise! it was truly a perfect getaway, and the staff made us not wanna leave at all, everyone was so sweet and helpful, their hospitality and kindness spoke through the way they greeted us every morning! I initially booked one night at samaya, but ended up extending our stay till the very last day we had in bali!

Absolutely amazing!!

Everything! What an amazing place to experience. From arrival to departure this place exceeded any expectations I had. The staff and management are exceptional always trying that bit harder to make your stay perfect. Breakfast and food was amazing, spa was actually a decent price and the villas were immaculate!

The most perfect stay!

This property went above and beyond our expectations and was worth every penny. Everything was exactly as it should be - in great working order and clean. It’s a stunning property and breakfast had the best views! I recommend going early for breakfast in order to get yourself the seats with the best views. We used the massage facilities for a couples massage and that was perfect. we had dinner at the on-site restaurant, Swept Away, which was along the river bank. That experience was also perfect, the service standards were beyond our expectations. overall this property is one of a kind and you can tell that the management and staff truly take pride in everything they do. I would love to return!

Excellent, fantastic service and a lovely stay at the Samaya in Ubud.

The team at Samaya are exceptional, ready to help all of the time. We arrived in Bali at 1am and were picked up by the Samaya team. Bottled water and strawberries were given to us on arrival. Our villa was lovely, big size room, lovely bathroom and a great swimming pool. They have a number of breakfast options which they bring to your room if you cannot make it to their on site restaurant. Delicious menu too! The team even drive us into Ubud and picked us up when we were done for the day - this was unexpected but a very nice touch by Samaya. No job was ever too big, they were always on hand on WhatsApp to help. To get from Reception to our room we were driven in a buggy. When we wanted to head out, they buggy would collect us from our room. Really nice setup, beautiful hotel!

My wife was not keen on the number of gecko's running around on walls, but this is to be expected in countries like Bali. They are not harmful or poisonous and are in fact good for the environment as keeps the bugs out of the way. Can't really think of anything else as overall we were extremely happy with our stay. Thanks to all of the team at Samaya :).

Slice of heaven in Ubud

What a wonderful place to stay in Ubud, so peaceful and private and with the most amazing and helpful staff where nothing was too much trouble. We loved the buggies taking us to breakfast or to our transfer which was available whenever we needed. Definitely a great place thank you all for making us feel so welcome and at home.
