Amazing peaceful location all be it a little hard to find with postcode but delighted once we located it and found the peace and uniqueness...

WiFi wasn't the best but the remote staff were helpful

Having read the previous reviews (which, frustratingly, only appeared after we’d made our booking), we were quite apprehensive about our stay. We tried to contact the property several times before our arrival as we knew we’d be checking in late. Despite numerous phone calls, emails and messages over a two-week period, we received no response. The access details eventually arrived at 9pm the evening before we were due to arrive, which wasn’t ideal. The room itself was okay, and the bedding was clean, which was reassuring. However, the rest of the property felt grubby and in need of a thorough clean – a good hoover and dust would have made a big difference. The kitchen appeared fairly new and was well equipped, and the rooms were a decent size. This property has plenty of potential, but it’s let down by a lack of attention to detail and poor management. There were paint splashes throughout, unfinished decorating, missing plugs on tv and bulbs in lights. Aircon units not wired in….oh and a few toenail clippings on the floor in the lounge!
