Our vacation rental, Moselverliebt, is located in the quiet neighborhood of Schweich-Issel, just about 300 meters from the banks of the Moselle. A small children’s playground is 100 meters away. The nearest bus stop (Issel, Brunnen) is 100 meters away.
Issel an der Mosel has been a district of Schweich in the Trier-Saarburg district since 1969. Cycling and hiking trails are also located in the immediate vicinity.
The nearest shopping area is located on Ermesgraben in Schweich, approximately 500 meters away. (Bakery, butcher shop, Netto, NKD, Takko, DM Markt).
Additional shopping options, restaurants, and doctors can be found in downtown Schweich (about 1,500 meters away)

The teacher said that, looking down from Mount Rupperoth, with its streets radiating out into the fields, it looked like a star—perhaps—if you squint and there’s plenty of sun shining over the slate roofs.” A lot has happened since the town’s most famous son, the writer Stefan Andres, described Schweich. It wasn’t until 1984 that Schweich was granted city status, and it has experienced rapid development ever since. Schweich is the shopping center along the Roman Wine Route.
