If you want to explore lesser known part of Riga - it's perfect base on a quiet street. In 10-20 minutes walk you can find yourself in atmospheric Agenkalns or huge Uzvara park, on the other direction you stroll via newly renovated river alley for some km. The host is easy to communicate, there's a free car parking nearby. The place is ikea'ish furnished with fully equipped kitchen. More than you can expect for a price like this.

The surroundings are a bit grim and staircase asks for renovation. Note: there's no TV, nor wi-fi.

The lady was already waiting for us with the key, she was really sweet, showed everything in the apartment. There were towels, when we asked for it a hairdryer, as well as coffee, tea and a lot of other kitchen stuff. Great location, quiet part of the city. A good shop nearby and the bus and tram stop was also near.

There was no shower curtain, so it was hard to shower trying not to splash water everywhere. Everything else was good.
