I planned a couple of days at The Fringe and was very lucky to find affordable accommodation in Lavender Guest House. It was perfect. Spotlessly clean, quiet and a bus stop right outside. Had a WiFi issue, and phoned Susan who kindly sorted it for me.
I wish there was a lift, as I have a bad knee and was on the first floor. When I stay again, I will request a ground floor room.

The property had beautiful and clean rooms and was well set up as self service. The communication was very good and the systems worked well. Would recommend and would stay again.

Ottima struttura.
Pulita, accogliente e la camera molto bella e comoda.
Ottima posizione in quanto in 20 minuti di autobus si raggiunge il centro (la fermata è a pochi passi) in alternativa 1 ora circa di camminata.

The location is really good for the centre of Edinburgh with regular local transport in walking distance. The rooms are nice and clean. They were very warm with the current summer weather and may need additional facilities to make them more comfortable overnight.
Small practical rooms. It was a small bathroom but enough room to move about in.
Property is easy to access and entry instructions were very clear. Great that you can park onsite for going into the city.
Room might need a fan. I can understand the window security but it left little options for ventilation. Nothing else was a problem really.
