We have stayed in hotels for the previous 5 weeks in Europe, so a stay in the Apartment was an ideal change. Much more room, breakfasts as we have at home, cup of tea whenever we felt like it. The apartment was a 1 bed plus living/kitchen with a sofa/bed and a separate laundry. And a clothes line, plus ironing board and iron; so we ironed our clothes for the first time in 5 weeks !!! The l/k was huge about 4mx7m. And the best part of the apartment was its location. It was directly overlooking the lake, opposite the ferry terminal and 5mins walk to the rail station. From the 4 windows we could see the main square of the town where there were about 6-7 restaurants. So the apartment is perfect, and Colico has many many walks ... along the lake to the river, to the Bay Piona, and up the valley. A perfect place to stay. As well, Andrea the owner, was very easy to deal with. Thanks Andrea.
