We enjoyed the architecture, calm atmosphere and beautiful views, and breakfast was pretty good. A lot of potential.
For the price and positioning, we felt that the overall level of care and execution did not match the experience being offered.
Check-in was somewhat unclear and rushed. The room had several issues, limited storage and felt quite small. There were also a number of practical details that felt surprisingly unresolved for a hotel at this price point, including room equipment that could not be used. Some of the in-room facilities also felt more decorative than genuinely considered from a guest’s perspective. The private pool was not cleaned.
There were also some communication and follow-through issues around departure and a few things we had asked about during our stay.
Overall, we found the experience quite disappointing relative to the price. The experience does not feel as consistently considered as the positioning and price suggest.
