Modernes Appartment in Schifflange

We had the most wonderful stay at this accommodation and cannot recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, the host was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel right at home instantly. The property itself is kept to an exceptionally high standard and was absolutely spotless. It is clear that every single detail has been carefully thought out to ensure a perfect guest experience. The sleeping arrangements were ideal for our family, with a super comfy main bed and excellent sofa beds that the kids loved. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, and the host even left soft drinks in the fridge for us—a rare and incredibly thoughtful touch that we deeply appreciated! We truly had everything we needed and genuinely wished we could have stayed longer. The location is also fantastic, offering a quick and easy connection straight into Luxembourg City, while Schifflange itself turned out to be a beautiful, charming little town to explore. We would definitely love to come back!

Aankomst prima geregeld. Mooi en compleet appartement maar op een verkeerde locatie in Luxemburg.

De locatie. Ligt aan de rand van een stadje met weinig vertier. Lawaai van snelweg en trein. Geen mooie omgeving iig niet wat wij van Luxemburg verwachten.

The apartment consists of four areas: a living room, a bedroom, a kitchen, and a bathroom (a spacious one, at that!). It comfortably sleeps four people. The place is lovely and excellently equipped: kitchenware, towels, and toilet paper are provided, and the fridge is stocked with various items (water, juices, Cola, Fanta); there is also tasty coffee and free pods for the machine (Dolce Gusto). The owner, who lives upstairs, is very helpful. The neighborhood is quiet, and the apartment offers a view of the terrace. The indoor temperature remained pleasant, provided the windows were kept open during the day. There were no issues with mosquitoes, and a pleasant scent of lavender filled the air inside. There is Cactus market on the Schifflange station.

The following ones are not drawbacks - just be aware that: a) TV with YT, Netflix only, no programmes b) This location is situated on a hill relative to the Schifflange station, so climbing with luggages after long journey might be a challenge - take taxi if your condition is not the best. However on daily living this is not a problem as the distance is around 500m c) General situation in Luxembourg: July/August there are works in Bettembourg, so travelling to Luxembourg city by train is not possible directly - there is a bus in Bettembourg
