Lumina Residence

Our first time to Crete, we hired a car in Heraklion before wending our way east, beach and olive grove hopping to Agios Nik. We were warmly greeted by the owner and host, who quickly endeared us to the area she grew up in, with her local knowledge of where to eat and swim while avoiding the busy popular tourist centre. The apartment was large, situated in the quieter northern end to town, surrounded by locals, supermarkets, and just a 10 minutes walk downhill to the coastal road into town, which turned out to be home to some of Agios Nik's smaller and most authentic restaurants, right at the waters edge with views to the island. The apartment was immaculately clean, with off street parking and pleasant views from the balcony, perfect for a light brekky before heading out for the day. We would book again, even if simply to catch up up with the host :-)

Very clean, modern spacious apartment with large shower and fully equipped. Great location , 10 minute walk to a nice beach and a 20 minute walk to the lake in Agios Nikolas . Easy check in with a very responsive host who kindly left water and fruits. We loved the large patio and area and easy parking

The bed was a bit uncomfortable with thinner mattress but not to bad but we are used to a firmer mattress but still very much recommended

Spacious apartment with two balconies and fully equipped kitchen. Really like the metal shutters you can lower to cover the windows at night, ensured a great nights sleep every night! Also good to have parking.
