If you are looking for some activities you’ll find outdoor table tennis, boules court, new children’s play area and eco playground, playing field and there is also private on-park woodland. Plenty to keep you occupied if you fancy a more relaxing time within the park itself.
If you want to explore then there really is no better base, with direct access to the breathtaking Horsey gap beach, here dogs are welcome but must stay on leads as the colony of playful grey seals live here, Horsey Village has the Nelson Head pub should you fancy a refreshment or two. If you keep strolling north you’ll end up at the award winning Sea Palling beach and if you go in the opposite direction you’ll pass through the quaint Norfolk villages of Winterton and Caister. A little further and a short trip by car you can enjoy the family fun seaside town of Great Yarmouth where you’ll find an abundance of arcades, rides, shops, bars and restaurants. You can’t go to Norfolk without spending some time in the Norfolk Broads, if you head into Wroxham you’ll be able to hire a day boat, enjoy some food and beverage by the river and have a walk around the independent shops.
