About this apartment rental
This beautifully modern and luxurious single storey holiday cottage is in a wonderfully peaceful rural location. Enjoy quiet and easy walks from the door with your dogs or head to the local dog friendly beaches. There is a great choice on this Norfolk coast – all a short drive away.
ALL ABOUT THE INSIDE:
Entry through the private courtyard straight into the
Open plan lounge/kitchen/diner
Karndean flooring throughout this very well fitted and stylish kitchen with an electric cooker with induction hob, dishwasher, Tassimo coffee machine, microwave and toaster. There’s a large smart TV in the lounge and free unlimited superfast Wi-Fi so you can access all your usual online viewing whilst chilling out on the comfortable sofa.
Kingsize bedroom
Very comfortable king size bed with wardrobe, chest of drawers and hair dryer. Views across the fields.
En-suite shower room
Modern spacious shower room, with toilet, sink, shaver point and storage.
ALL ABOUT THE OUTSIDE:
Courtyard
The Peanut has its own large patio with outside seating, a grassed area which is fully enclosed with 3ft stock fencing and additional plastic-coated chicken wire for those small escape artists to one side, 3ft boarded fencing to the second side and 5ft solid wooden fencing to the third side. There is direct access to the paddock from The Peanut’s patio garden. Peanut also has its own two-seater hot tub for the ultimate relaxing holiday.
Paddock
The paddock fencing is slightly higher than the courtyard, but not solid. There is wire stock fencing between the post and rail fencing. There are no passing dogs/people or car traffic. Guests have shared access to the paddock with The Walnut and Bumblebee Cottage, but only one property may have use at one time.
Please note that for security reasons, CCTV covers the gateway and parking area.

The Peanut is a lovely quiet home from home for two plus pooches. Everything has been thought of to make your stay as comfortable as possible with quality facilities and fittings. Paul & Stella are so welcoming and are immediately on hand if needed. The Peanut is absolutely perfect for dogs with a lovely grassy secure paddock immediately adjacent. Lovely furnished secure patio and hot tub are just perfect if weather permits. It’s a great set up for groups of family or friends with three individual properties on site. Highly recommended for a quiet peaceful luxury dog friendly break

We enjoyed our week at The Peanut. There are 3 cottages to choose from and a large paddock for the dogs to play in and its also very rural. We didn't hear many fireworks as we put the television on loud. The cottage was well furnished and the owners were very helpful. The two other families that were in the other cottages were going to rebook again straightaway, we didn't rebook as we do like to try a different one each time. I would recommend this place.

The cottage is beautiful, comfortable and the perfect size for us and our labrador. Our hosts Paul & Stella were very friendly and on hand if we needed them yet unobtrusive. Our pup celebrated his 1st birthday while we were there and he had a blast on the beach (his first holiday), Paul & Stella even kindly gave him a birthday present. He loved the private dog paddock and made friends with some lovely dogs who were staying in The Walnut. Our pup loved the beaches at Walcott, Happisburgh, Cart Gap and Waxham, although he wasn't so sure about the sea. We had adventures on the North Norfolk Railway Poppy Line steam strain at Sheringham and had a fabulous trip with Ross' Wildlife Boat Trips at Martham. We enjoyed meals at Hill House Inn, Smallsticks Cafe, Dunes Cafe, Star at Lessingham, Hirsts Farm Shop and Poppylands Tearoom. We had a wonderful week at The Peanut and will definitely return.

I couldn’t believe how warming and homely The Peanut was. My dog, a toy poodle, had a good look round and settled straight away. The food hamper was amazing, full of locally sourced food. The Peanut was so clean and I attempted to keep it just so. The garden was just big enough and a mop was left to clean up after my dog. Very thoughtful. The paddock was lovely for dogs to have a run and the view across the fields was lovely. Really enjoyed my stay, thank you.
