A stay in this charming flint-clad property near Happisburgh (2 miles) places friends, family and four-pawed companions in Norfolk's unspoilt countryside and coastline. With its iconic red-and-white striped lighthouse and sweeping sandy beaches, Happisburgh is an excellent base for seaside adventures, rural hikes, and relaxed days out. Start by exploring Happisburgh Beach – an expansive stretch of sand perfect for dog walking, fossil hunting, or simply breathing in the fresh sea air. A short stroll takes you to Happisburgh Lighthouse, the oldest working lighthouse in East Anglia. Sea Palling (4.5 miles) boasts Blue Flag beaches, shallow waters, and water sports equipment hire. Families will love visiting Mundesley (8.5 miles), a classic Norfolk seaside village with colourful beach huts, cafes and a friendly, laid-back vibe. Wildlife enthusiasts shouldn’t miss a trip to Hickling Broad (6.5 miles), where you can see rare birds, take a boating trip, or wander along nature trails.
Step through the courtyard and into a bright, open-plan living area designed for effortless holiday living. The first bedroom features a king-size bed and a sleek en-suite shower room with a walk-in rainfall shower. Further along, a contemporary family bathroom is a lovely spot for a long, indulgent soak. The second bedroom provides flexible sleeping arrangements with a king-size bed that can be made up as twins on request, making it ideal for families or friends.
Outside, the enclosed courtyard is a peaceful haven bordered by a high wall and wooden fencing that maximises both privacy and sweeping Norfolk country views. In one corner, your private five-seater hot tub awaits, complete with 23 hydromassage jets designed to ease tension from top to toe. There’s plenty of outdoor seating, including a clever coffee table that transforms into a dining table, plus a large parasol with solar lighting for evenings outdoors. Guests have access to a paddock shared with the other properties on-site, with only one party permitted to use the paddock at a time, unless a pet play-date is agreed!
