We chose Red Roofs because we needed a dog friendly home with four double bedrooms for a family holiday. Jane was fantastic in making sure the house was safe and ready for a toddler and a baby providing a larger travel cot and a baby chair. We arrived early while Jane was there and she was lovely, coming back to bring the baby chair. There was plenty of room for four couples to have a comfortable week and enough space to have time alone if needed. All the beds were incredibly comfortable and the bedrooms were very spacious with lots of storage. The little ones went in the upstairs room with their parents as it was huge with their own bathroom and a sofa bed if needed. The kitchen was a good size with everything and more that you could need for a weeks stay. We never ran out of crockery or cutlery. The welcome pack was wonderful with delicious homemade Victoria sponge cake. There are plenty of doggy items so you don’t need to pack your own - towels, beds, crates, throws, ball thrower! Ralph needs a raised bowl so we did bring our own with us. He even got some food and treats in the welcome pack. A doggy pushchair was provided as an extra. We didn’t need it in the end but for £10 it was worth having just in case. The back garden is huge and fully fenced in making this ideal for Ralph the dog and Archie the toddler. They absolutely loved running up and down playing. The front wasn’t enclosed so we kept the front doors locked as it looked out onto the broads. Plenty of space to park out front and lots of lovely walks from the house. We walked to the Norfolk nature reserve and enjoyed a boat trip. Lovely pub a very short walk away too. Archie enjoyed the play park at the community centre. The only small thing was the rowing boat wasn’t available, which would have been nice to have a go in. We went to Sea Palling beach as it was more toddler friendly but there were quieter beaches nearby too. The area was beautiful and quiet, perfect for a relaxing week together with extended family.

Red Roofs is a comfortable house where is it very easy to relax. It is an ideal place to stay with a boisterous escape artist of a dog given its large secure garden and access to off the road walks out of the front door. The location is ideal with 2 pubs & a nature reserve in walking distance & the beach 20mins drive away. There are a range of water activities close by or you can watch the yachts & wind surfers from the chairs by the upstirs window Customer service deserves a higher score than 5stars!

A 60th birthday celebration with sailing, kayaking and canoeing. Great place with lovely garden and easy access to broad via public slipway and local boatyard. Relaxing house with everything you could need. Loved the homemade cake and provisions left by Jane.

We have stayed at Red Roofs a number of times & it is the most relaxing cottage that we have booked for both ourselves & our dog. We stayed over the Xmas period & it was a delight to see the Christmas tree lights twinkling as we arrived. The welcome pack was excellent & we had the surprize bonus of the owner dropping off a tin of home made mince pies mid stay.

Felt so chilled & relaxed from the moment we arrived. Fantastic welcome pack. Ideal location for dog walking (& dog friendly beaches a short drive away), bird watching or just enjoying the view over the broad. Now the Pleasure boat Inn has reopened there are 2 dog friendly pubs within walking distance. East Rushton Cottages is by far the friendliest & most helpful letting agency I have dealt with

Red Roofs has a very special place in all of our hearts. This visit was our 9th.... All of our big family have stayed at one time or another. Jane and her team always prepare the house sooo very very well for visitors. And she herself is always full of kindness and joy if ever she pops in whilst we're there. We thank her for her continued attention to details for our comfort. And also a huge thank you to her for unloading and packing away our rather massive Waitrose grocery order on the Saturday morning before our arrival.

We felt very welcome in this house. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. The garden was amazing, our dogs were very spoilt. We had 5 adults and 2 dogs in the house and all had our own space. We used the fab bbq nearly every day. The broad is just across the road. You see so many different birds and boats going by. The village is lovely and you are in easy reach of boat yards and the coast. Also you can walk to two pubs!
