Schoolhouse is a reverse-level cottage in Lochaline, Highland. The property features a first-floor kitchen and a first-floor living/dining room with woodburning stove and TV. The bedrooms consist of a king-size, a double, and a ground-floor single bedroom with woodburning stove. There is a ground-floor bathroom with bath, shower over, basin, and WC, along with a ground-floor shower room with walk-in shower, basin, and WC. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. Outside, there is a non-enclosed garden and a designated parking place for one car. Two well-behaved pets are welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Electric infrared heaters and woodburning stoves provide heating throughout. Fuel, power, and a starter pack for the woodburning stove are included in the rent, as are bed linen and towels. Stay at Schoolhouse and savour sea views and fireside evenings. Note: During school time, there will be no parking beside the property. Note: Pets must be kept under control as the garden is not enclosed. Note: There is a 250 GBP Good Housekeeping Bond.

Region: From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain’s best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.
Town: Lochaline is on the Morvern Peninsula, one of the remotest areas on the British mainland, and overlooks the beautiful Sound of Mull. The village sits at the mouth of the sea loch and has a shop/post office, snack bar, hotel and seafood restaurant and there is also a busy dive school. There is easy access by car-ferry to the Isle of Mull, with its wonderful wildlife and beaches. This is a beautiful area rich in flora and fauna, with wonderful walks, beaches, cycling, fishing and a fascinating shoreline to explore. The town of Fort William is about an hour's drive away, where you can explore the Nevis Range; ride the Gondola to 2150ft besides Ben Nevis, stroll along mountain footpaths and ski in the winter.
