About this house rental
Behind the traditional main door on Bank Street, a terrazzo-floored hall and timber staircase lead up to the first floor. Here you’ll find a beautiful front lounge with high ceilings, bay window and southerly views over the rooftops towards the Firth of Forth and Elie Harbour. Comfortable sofas, armchairs in the bay, and a feature fireplace make it a lovely spot to unwind, with TV, Freeview, Firestick and DVD for quieter evenings. To the rear, a fully fitted L-shaped kitchen with Welsh dresser flows into the dining room, creating a sociable space for cooking and long shared meals. The kitchen is very well equipped, with gas hob, electric oven, two fridges, freezer, dishwasher, washer, dryer, microwave, blender and cafetière. This floor also has a calming king-size bedroom and a contemporary family bathroom with bath and separate shower.
Upstairs, four further bedrooms offer flexible sleeping for up to 10 guests. At the front, two generous bedrooms with bay windows enjoy far-reaching sea views – one with a super-king bed, the other with a king-size. To the rear, a twin room and a double bedroom look over the garden towards the golf course. A smart shower room on this level keeps mornings and post-beach freshen-ups running smoothly.
Outside, a large enclosed garden is mainly lawn with mature trees and herbaceous borders – a lovely, sheltered space for children to play or adults to relax. It can be accessed via steps from the house or through the communal vennel at ground level. A lockable stone shed provides secure storage for bikes, golf clubs and paddle boards. Public parking is available on Bank Street, Park Place and the High Street.
