About this house rental
Broxmouth Park is steeped in history and natural beauty. The park is a wonderful place for walks and a haven for bird and animal lovers. It is not unusual to see a deer wandering past the front door. The house is very private and has its own private drive which meanders through horses and sheep and over a bridge which is where it gets its name. It is surrounded by mature trees and has a lovely patio area with outdoor furniture overlooking a brook. There is a hot tub which is 40c all year round which is a great place to enjoy and relax.
This wonderful house sleeps 10 people in 5 interior designed bedrooms. .
It has been decorated so as it has a sumptuous and cosy feeling and is a lovely place for a celebration or for family get-togethers. On the ground floor is the sitting room which has beautiful comfortable sofas and a cosy wood burning stove. This room has double doors which open out onto the outdoor patio area and hot tub. There is an open plan kitchen with a large central island which is lovely to cook in, this opens into the dining room. The dining room has luxurious silk drapes and a large table which comfortably seats 10 people. There is a double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and a separate WC located on the ground floor. There is also a separate laundry. Upstairs there are three double bedrooms and a twin bedroom. Two of the double bedrooms upstairs have ensuite bathrooms. There is also a family bathroom and a separate WC. The master ensuite has a very relaxing steam shower with chromatherapy. The family bathroom is decorated with Bisazza Mosaics and has a large slipper bath and shower.

We all had a fab time at this great property. It was a great find and coincidentally my son and his fiancée had just booked their wedding on the estate (2027) so it was fantastic to see the venue etc. The welcome basket and bottles of Prosecco was such a lovely touch and was very much appreciated.Bedrooms and bathrooms were fantastic - perfect for large family gathering. When asked for high chair this was quickly brought to us. Downstairs spaces were great. Outdoor areas and hot tub were fantastic. Woodland area was so lovely to walk through and we regularly saw deer on our walks.Property could do with a little attention - window catches on downstairs windows - some were very loose or missing. In the kitchen some of the pots in the cupboards came up with “F” when put on induction hob, presumably because they weren’t compatible- they should just be removed from property as can’t be used. A bread knife and measuring jug would also be handy.Overall a fantastic stay at an awesome property and we would definitely consider staying here again and look forward to the wedding in 2027. While the location and grounds are gorgeous, and the home itself on first glance, it has been well loved. The furniture in the living room has no padding and some of the beds are very old. Three of the toilets were running and one bathroom have a very distinct sulfur smell. We informed the host of the issues with the toilet and also the internet not working, and the hot tub not working. The host was aware the hot tub had issues but we were unaware. They tried to remedy the internet but it was out of their control. They did send someone for the running toilets, but they removed a toilet from the wall and didn’t replace.
We did really love the grounds and the sheep, but overall it was extremely pricey for the quality and amenities.
