About this apartment rental
This cozy apartment features a light-filled living area—divided into a TV nook with a sofa and a wood-burning stove, a dining area by the window, and a kitchenette. The living area opens onto the north-facing balcony—you can almost smell the Baltic Sea. The large bedroom is equipped with a double bed, a wardrobe, and its own TV. The second bedroom (children’s room) features a bunk bed. For wellness enthusiasts, the bathroom is perfectly suited: in addition to the shower, it features a sauna and a large spa tub.
The “Leuchtturm” house is in an ideal vacation location, just under 100 meters from the beach! And overall, the house is a great starting point for everything you might want to do on vacation:
Restaurants, a playground, a skate park, and kiosks are all in the immediate vicinity. A bakery, bike rentals, and—for the more athletic guests—a gym are also within a 600-meter radius.
You can conveniently park your car in the house’s parking lot—and feel free to leave it there. The best way to get around here is on foot or by bike. Public buses run several times a day to Heiligenhafen or Fehmarn, giving you plenty of flexibility. In general, Großenbrode is a great starting point for all kinds of bike tours: you can reach Heiligenhafen in just over an hour—a bit faster on an e-bike—or enjoy the unique view from the Fehmarnsund Bridge and cycle directly to Fehmarn.
*Many offers are seasonal and subject to availability; fees apply; subject to change! If you’re dreaming of gently sloping beaches, glowing sunsets, and relaxation for the whole family—then come to Großenbrode on the Fehmarnsund. The wide, sandy Baltic Sea beach is perfect for digging in the sand and building sandcastles. Little water lovers and swimming enthusiasts can splash around to their heart’s content in the shallow waters of the Baltic Sea. Nearby, you’ll find shopping, playgrounds, restaurants, and a variety of recreational activities. Großenbrode has its own train station. The island of Fehmarn is only about 4 km from Großenbrode, and the city of Heiligenhafen on the Wader River (about 10 km away) also invites you to visit. Here, in addition to the traditional fishing port, you’ll find one of Germany’s largest and most modern marinas, a pier over 500 meters long, and a kilometer-long swimming beach.
